Mr. and Mrs. Dan Chappell and daughter, Patty Ann, of Chicago, Illinois spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Chappell and David.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bartley and daughter, Susie, of Bessemer, were recent guests in the home of Mrs. Luther Bartley.

Mrs. Alex Jackson remains in Jacksonville, at the bedside of her daughter, Mrs. Mae Spivey, who has recently undergone surgery.

Mr. and Mrs. D.A. Fannin and Mrs. Luther Bartley spent Saturday in Birmingham.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Vincent were Saturday afternoon guests of their niece, Mrs. Alvin Edwards and family, in Cullman.

Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Petit and sons, Dale and Bruce, returned home on Monday, after a four day visit in Tuscaloosa with Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Cornelius.

Mrs. Frank Eskew (Joyce Petit), of Tarrant, was a recent guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Petit.

Among those visiting Mr. and Mrs. Theron Johnson over the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. L.R. Morgan, of Alabama City, Mr. and Mrs. O.D. Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson, of Huntsville.

Raymon, son of Mr. and Mrs. R.T. Bailey, is recuperating from a virus infection.

Mr. and Mrs. Dick Morgan, of Decatur, were weekend guests of her parents, the Dock Moores.

Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Bently, of Gold Ridge, were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Vickers.

Mrs. Pauline Thompson was a recent guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Stocks, at Bethel.

Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Johnston were Reverend and Mrs. L.C. Tucker and daughters.
