Obituary: Deborah K. Preston
Deborah K. Preston, 65, of Joppa passed away Friday, Sept. 25, 2020 at her residence.
Deborah was born May 21, 1955, the daughter of Walter Spinks and Mary Frances Heaton Spinks.
She was a retired Teacher/Head Start Coordinator for Community Action Partnership of North Alabama.
She is survived by her husband Earnest Preston of Joppa; sons Daryl Preston and David
Preston, both of Joppa; brothers Mike Spinks of Bremen and Paul Spinks of Cullman; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family chose to honor her wishes by cremation with no formal memorial service.
Gober Funeral Chapel assisted the Preston family with cremation arrangements.
