    Gary Hill Cobb, aged 67, died suddenly at his home in Cullman on July 31, 2021. He was  born in Cullman on May 29, 1954. He had been beset by a number of chronic physical  problems over the years. A graduate of the University of North Alabama, Gary had  graduate degrees from UAB and UAH.  He was preceded in death by his parents: Buell E. Cobb, Sr., and Kathryn McDaniel Cobb. He leaves  behind three beloved brothers: Buell E. Cobb, Jr. (Mary), William Joseph Cobb (Sue Bell) and James  Michael Cobb (Jan) and by their children and grandchildren.  He will be remembered by many friends and family members for his sharp mind and wit, for his great  heart and compassion for others, for a consistently positive attitude in the face of adversity and for his  enduring faith.  Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3, at Moss Service Funeral Home (1901 2nd  Ave. NW, Cullman) with visitation preceding from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. The family requests that  all attendees wear masks.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to South Cullman Church of Christ.
