CULLMAN, Ala. – The 38th Annual Cullman County Band Exhibition took place this past Saturday at Cullman High School’s Oliver Woodard Stadium. The yearly exhibition showcases the talents of the area marching bands and gives each band the opportunity to enjoy the others’ complete show as they approach contest season. Saturday’s show did not disappoint as each performance was met with thunderous applause and standing ovations.

Nine bands participated in the exhibition: Cullman Middle School, Cold Springs, Holly Pond, Hanceville, Vinemont, Good Hope, West Point, Fairview and Cullman High School. Earlier in the day, all the bands marched in the Cullman County Fair Parade.

Last year, due to COVID-19 restrictions, the traditional exhibition format had to be adjusted in order to comply. Instead of every band being present simultaneously, the bands were broken down into groups of four. This year, with restrictions lifted, the show continued in its traditional format to the delight of the directors, students and their supporters. The stadium was standing room only from start to finish.
