CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman Veterans Hall of Fame will induct a new class Tuesday, Nov. 17. The ceremony and dinner will take place at Loft 212, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and the event beginning at 6:15.

Committee Lead Col. Don Fallin said the mission of the Cullman Veterans Hall of Fame (CVHOF) is to pay tribute and recognize the veterans who honorably served the country, display great character and continue a lifetime of service to the country and state.

“This will be our fourth year honoring our county veterans and recognizing those who have both served our country and our community with distinction,” Fallin said. “Cullman has over 7,000 veterans and this is our small way to thank them for their service. We are fortunate and thankful for our many local sponsors and business owners’ contributions that allow us to host the event.”

Fallin said their committee is composed of members from three service organizations in Cullman: VFW Post 2214, DAV Chapter 101 and American Legion Post 4.

“This year we are honoring veterans from several generations – World War II, Vietnam and the Global War on Terror,” Fallin said. “Following dinner, each inductee will be honored by the committee and will be presented a plaque with their picture and a short bio that will be displayed in the courthouse.”

Other guests will include local service recruiters, Cullman County commissioners and chairman, the mayor and many other veteran supporters.

If you would like to attend, reach out to any of the service organizations or Fallin at donald.fallin@gmail.com or 910-308-4197.
