CULLMAN, Ala. — Last month Visit Cullman was named 2026 Alabama Tourism Organization of the Year by the Alabama Department of Tourism.
Harmony Heard Steed, executive director of Visit Cullman, stated, “Being named Tourism Organization of the Year is an incredible honor and a testament to what is possible when an entire community believes in the power of tourism. This award belongs to our board, our staff, our elected officials, our tourism partners, our businesses, our volunteers and every resident who welcomes visitors with genuine hospitality.”
She continued, “Together, we’ve transformed momentum into measurable results, showcasing Cullman County as one of Alabama’s premier destinations. While we’re proud of how far we’ve come, we’re even more excited about where we’re headed. The best is still to come for Cullman County!”
