Funeral Service for Melvin Sams, age 82, of Cullman, will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Dudly Brock officiating; interment in Fairview Methodist Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Sams passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at his residence. He was born December 11, 1936, to Noah and Opal Sams.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley Sams; sister, Ruth Sams; and brother, James Sams.
Survivors include his son, Keith Sams; daughter, Kathy (Doug) Pugh; son, Chris (Darlene) Sams; grandchildren, Jamie Pugh, Mark Jordan, Ryan Sams, and Mason Sams; brother, Felton Sams; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
