Funeral Service for Betty Sue Stringer, age 79, of Hartselle, will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 5, 2019, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Mac Buttram officiating; interment in Cullman Heritage Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Stringer passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at her residence. She was born June 23, 1940, to William Paul and Nellie Ellen Dawson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Stringer; parents; and siblings, Bobby Dawson, Frances Whitehead, and Pauline Douglas.
Survivors include her daughter, Suellen Stringer (Tim) Guthrie; sons, Scott (Leslie) Stringer and Herman Paul (Pam) Stringer; brothers, Harold (Peggy) Dawson and Thomas (Claudia) Dawson; sister-in-law, Ellen Dawson; grandchildren, Justin Stringer, Alex (Chris) Jones, Magan (Ryan) Culler, Sara Katherine Guthrie, Seth Douglas (Jennifer) Guthrie, Zac Stringer, and Brant Stringer; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, July 5, 2019, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
