Funeral services for Wilma Campbell, 81, of Hayden will be on Tuesday, October 6th, at 2 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Richard Hackney and Charlie Aldridge. Burial will follow the service at Fairview West Cemetery. Visitation will be the night prior from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Mrs. Campbell was born on March 26th, 1945, to the late Larkin and Ludy Bales in Blount County. She went to meet the Lord on October 3rd, 2026.
Mrs. Campbell was known for her immense love of flowers and gardening. She had an extraordinary green thumb and was known to even nurse dying flowers back to health. She had a natural affinity for gardening and would spend hours caring for her plants.
Mrs. Campbell is survived by her husband of 64 years, Troy Campbell; children, Lamar Campbell, Mark Campbell; grandchildren, Michael Campbell, Gabrielle Campbell, Arielle Campbell, Katie (Weston) Moon, Jack (Autumn) Campbell, Vivian Gorff; and great-grandchildren, AJ Campbell, Grayson Campbell, and Tara Moon.
Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her parents and her five siblings.
