Memorial Service for Fred Allen “Peanut” Sparks, age 80 of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Welti Cumberland Presbyterian Church; Visitation will be from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Mr. Sparks passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at his residence. He was born, March 1, 1946, to Joseph Olen Sparks and Willie Pearl Sparks.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dorothy Brannan.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Sparks; son, Randy Sparks (Karen); daughter, Lynn Yarbrough (Jeff), grandchildren, Bryant Sparks (Jessica) and Kristen Sparks and brother, James Sparks and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
