Cullman County 4-H Shotgun Club brings team & individual awards home from 2026 State Championship

CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – This past weekend, Cullman County’s 4-H Shotgun Team traveled to the Red Eagle Trap and Skeet range in Childersburg to compete in the 2026 Alabama 4-H Shotgun State Championship competition. Among teams from across Alabama, Cullman’s shooters raked in awards, individually and as teams, with the Senior squad placing second in their division and the Juniors taking the gold in theirs. All winners, as well as their competitions, can be found below.

Senior Division, Individual

  • Colt Thompson – Second Place in Senior Trap, Third Place in Senior Skeet, Second Place in Senior HOA (High Over All)
  • Brayden Martin – Third Place in Senior Sporting Clays

Senior Division, Team

  • Second Place HOA Team – Colt Thompson, Brayden Martin, Trenton Mobley, Gloria Phromchantra

Junior Division, Individual

  • Zeke Britton – First Place Junior Sporting Clays
  • Zoe Wakefield – Third Place Junior Trap, Third Place Junior HOA
  • Jacob Dockery – Third Place Junior Skeet
