
CULLMAN, Ala. – The Smith Lake Park Memorial Day Festival took place Saturday, May 23, drawing people from across Cullman County, the state and beyond, all gathered for a day of fun in the sunshine.
The vendor lineup showcased a multitude of wares, ranging from hand-crafted items, custom tumblers, knives, leather sheaths and your choice of Cullman fashion.
Kreative Engraving and Design brought a unique spin on jewelry with wood-burned earrings. The creations included popular cinematic characters as well as American flags.
Elsie’s Remnants showed upcycled clothing such as jackets, split design dresses and T-shirts. Among these items were upcycled purses, jewelry and other intriguing options.
Whether boating on the lake, swimming in the pool, shopping between vendor booths, enjoying a variety of food trucks or browsing the second annual Freedom & Octane Memorial Day Car Show, all roads led to a successful Memorial Day at the festival.
