UPDATE from ALDOT March 26 at 9:37 a.m.: "The work on I-65 in Cullman County for Wednesday night and Thursday has been canceled and will be rescheduled."
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) advises motorists that there will be nighttime, single-lane closures on Interstate 65 northbound north of Exit 291 (Alabama 91 near Colony) in Cullman County beginning about 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 27 for concrete placement.
Also, on Thursday, March 28, the contractor will be repairing asphalt between the Blount County line and Exit 305 (County Road 222 in Good Hope). Motorists are advised to expect single-lane closures northbound and southbound during the day.
Please expect delays, reduce speed within the work zone, and be prepared to change lanes.
