Rodney Dale Lawrence, 54, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on October 2, 2026, surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Rodney was born on April 27th, 1972, to Roger and Polly Lawrence. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Rodney was happiest driving a big truck or doing anything outdoors. He had a lifelong love for hunting and fishing. Some of his favorite days were spent in the woods or on the water. Whether he was waiting patiently for that perfect catch, heading out before daylight for a hunt, or simply enjoying the peace and quiet of nature, those were the times he felt most at home. The memories made on those hunting and fishing trips will forever be treasured by the family and friends who were lucky enough to share them with him.

More than anything, Rodney loved his family. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his big heart, his strength, his stubbornness, his story telling, how hard he worked, or anything else special about him. He leaves behind countless memories, stories, and lessons that his family will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Although, our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing that he is at peace. We will think of him every time we see a big truck, hear the woods come alive at daylight, see the sun shining across the water, or cast a line into one of his favorite fishing spots.

“Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts—until we meet again!”

Rodney is survived by his daughters, Tiffanie Lawrence, Trisha Phillips; his father, Roger Lawrence; his brothers Shane (Wendy) Lawrence and Wesley (Nicole) Lawrence; and nieces and nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Polly Lawrence; his granddaughter RynLee Hunt, and other loved ones.
