William (Bill) Howard Goddard, 95, passed away on October 2, 2026. Born December 30, 1930, William was a longtime resident of Crane Hill, Alabama, and will be remembered with deep respect and enduring gratitude by all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Betty Goddard; his daughter, Cathy Trucks; his granddaughters, Jenna Brock(Jason) and Courtney Lowery(Zach); his great grandchildren, Chloe Brock, Chance Brock, Memphis Lowery and Sloane Lowery; his sisters, Caroline Merell and Judy Praytor; and his sister-in-law, Beverly Goddard. He was preceded in death by his brother, Tyson Goddard, and his son-in-law, Mike “Skeet” Trucks.
A Graveside committal Service will be held at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, 1612 Co Rd 201, Crane Hill, AL 35053, US, on October 5, 2026, at 1 p.m.
In-leu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Smith Lake Baptist Church in Honor of Mr. Goddard where he was a faithful member and deacon.
