CULLMAN, Ala. – On Saturday, Oct. 3, Southern Ghost Girls Tours & Investigations will return to Cullman’s Warehouse District for a candlelit twilight walking tour and paranormal history event. They previously held a similar event in early May of this year.
Visitors are advised to gather at Sipsey Winery at 112 Clark St. NE, Cullman for the guided ghost walk at 7 p.m. Though the earlier the better! The tour will be led by owner and founder Lesley Ann Hyde.
The organizers wrote, “While downtown Cullman transforms into a vibrant Bavarian wonderland, the shadows of 1st Avenue hide secrets from our town’s past.”
The tour is said to cover Cullman’s 1873 German immigration settlements with an interesting, eerie twist of ghost stories gathered from locals. Attendees will also learn about Cullman’s founder, Colonel Cullmann, and how he shaped where the town is today.
Organizers advise that they will not be congregating inside the winery and the event does not require walking throughout the downtown historic district.
Admission is $36 per person and each person who purchases a ticket will receive one glass of cider, wine or nonalcoholic beverage. The tickets are available on Eventbrite or www.southerghostgirls.com
