CULLMAN, Ala. – Churches across Cullman County are holding Vacation Bible School programs, kick-off nights, Bible roundups, gospel meetings and other summer events for children and families.
Events are listed below by community. Families are encouraged to confirm details with individual churches before attending, as schedules may change.
Cullman
Cullman First Baptist Church, located at 501 Second Ave. SW, is hosting “VBS 2026: Illumination Station” June 1-5. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. and pickup is at noon. Open to children who have completed Kindergarten through sixth grade.
Seventh Street Baptist Church, located at 708 Seventh St. SW, will host “VBS 2026: True North” June 7-10 from 5-8 p.m.
Temple Baptist Church’s Cullman campus, located at 30 County Road 1184, will host “VBS 2026: Wayfinder” June 7-10, from 6-8 p.m.
First United Methodist Church Cullman, located at 320 Third St. SE, will host “VBS 2026: Rainforest Falls” July 14-16, from 5-7:30 p.m.
Southside Baptist Church, located at 2003 Main Ave. SW, will host “Living in Truth VBS” June 14-17, from 6-8 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The event is listed for ages 3 months through fifth grade.
Northbrook Baptist Church, located at 3691 Alabama Highway 157, will host “Vacation Bible School: Kingdom Quest” June 14-17, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The event is listed for ages 3 through fourth grade, with Preteen Week also listed for fifth and sixth grade. A free dinner will be offered to VBS participants at 5:30 each evening.
Grace Chapel, located at 1635 Main Ave. SW, will host “Surprise Party VBS” June 14-17, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The event is listed for children ages 5 through sixth grade, with dinner included.
Fourth Street Church of Christ, located at 500 Fourth St. SW, will host VBS June 15-16, 18, at 7 p.m.
St. Andrew’s Global Methodist Church, located at 615 Main Ave. SW, will host VBS June 15-18 from 6-8:15 p.m.
Northside Baptist Church, located at 1310 Katherine St. NW, will host a one-day “Galaxy VBS” June 20 from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. The event is listed for children ages 4 through sixth grade.
Lake Catoma Baptist Church, located at 1646 Alabama Highway 157, will host “Illumination Station VBS” June 22-25, from 6-8:30 p.m. The event is listed for children from pre-K through sixth grade.
Grace Episcopal Church, located at305 Arnold S.t NE, Cullman, will host VBS June 22-26, from 9 a.m.-noon.
Hanceville
Branded by Christ Cowboy Church, located at 1271 County Road 623, will host “Youth Summer Bible Roundup 2026” June 4-6, from 6-8:30 p.m.
Beech Grove Baptist Church, located at 1135 Alabama Highway 69 S, will host “GospelTopia 2026” June 14, from 5-8 p.m. and June 15-18, 5:30-8 p.m. Meal provided every night.
Good Hope
Good Hope Baptist Church, located at 90 Good Hope School Road, will host “Illumination Station VBS” June 14-17, from 5:30-8 p.m.
Holly Pond
First Baptist Church Holly Pond, located at 10751 U.S Highway 278 East, will host “Emerald Crossing VBS” June 7-10, from 5:30-8 p.m. The event is listed for ages 4 through sixth grade. An adult class, “Christianity Explained” is listed for each night from 7-8.
Baileyton and Fairview area
Temple Baptist Church’s Fairview campus, located at 8701 Alabama Highway 69 N, will host “Wayfinder VBS 2026” June 7-10, from 6-8 p.m. Ages 3-fifth grade.
First Baptist Church of Fairview, located at 1022 Welcome Road, will host “VBS 2026: Illumination Station” July 13-17, from 6-9 p.m. A meal will be served each night.
South Vinemont
Enon Baptist Church, located at 8001 County Road 1435, will host “Illumination Station VBS” June 14-17, from 5:30-8 p.m.
Faith Baptist Church Vinemont, located at 25 County Road 1302, will host VBS July 14-16, from 5:30-8 p.m.
Eva and northeastern Cullman County
Center Grove Baptist Church, located at 4607 County Road 1545, will host VBS June 7-10, from 6-8:30 p.m.
West Cullman Baptist Association
The West Cullman Baptist Association has listed several additional VBS events across its churches.
- Emeus VBS is listed for June 7-10 from 6-8 p.m.
- Bethlehem West VBS is listed for June 15-19. Families should check with the church for times and additional details.
- Bethany VBS appears to be listed for June 22-24 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Families should confirm the date range directly with the church.
- Ebenezer VBS is listed for June 27 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Calvary VBS is listed for July 6-10 from 5:30-8 p.m.
