Christopher Harold Callan, age 57, of Cullman, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held for Mr. Callan at a later date, to be announced.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Chris was born to Arvy and Eleanor Callan on August 2, 1968.
He is preceded in death by his father, Arvy Callan; grandparents, Harold and Louise Tucker.
He is survived by his wife, Maranda Ashley Callan; daughters, Brooke Callan Tommaselli (Bobby), and Summer Ashley; sons, Logan Callan (Kate), and Austin Ashley; grandchildren, Luciano Tommaselli, Luca Tommaselli, and Ryker Williams; his mother, Eleanor Callan; sister, Melissa Callan Karrh (Jerry); brothers, Mitch Callan (Teresa), and Patrick Callan (Tina); a host of nieces and nephews, and family and friends.
Chris was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather. He was a hard worker, nature and wildlife lover, and loved camping. A skilled land surveyor, he spent decades mapping and measuring the land he loved. His work left a lasting mark on his community and his dedication inspired those who knew him.
