CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman Regional this week announced Cardiologist Daniel Gonzalez, MD, joined the Cullman Regional Medical Group.
Gonzalez earned his medical degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela, Luis Razetti School of Medicine in Caracas, Venezuela. He completed his residency in internal medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health in Brooklyn, New York, and furthered his training with a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Mount Sinai Hospital – Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York, New York.
Gonzalez has experience in both clinical care and research. He has served as an oncology resident and worked as an academic tutor. He has also been involved in multiple research studies and clinical trials, with numerous publications in peer- reviewed journals. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, hiking, playing guitar, studying history, and creating art.
He provides treatment for heart disease diagnosis and management, high blood pressure, cholesterol disorders, arrhythmias, heart failure, preventative cardiology and general cardiovascular care.
