The owner of Elements Health & Wellness Spa said she felt a calling to publicly dedicate her business to Jesus Christ – so she did just that.
On Wednesday, April 24, Melissa Oblawski said she has felt a heaviness in her spirit and relationship with Jesus that she needed to verbally and physically put Christ first in all things, and that started with dedicating her business to him.
“I have felt a calling to truly put God first this year,” Oblawski said. “It is biblical to always give God your first fruits whether time, money, etc. God keeps guiding me to put Him first and He laid it on my heart that also meant my business, too. So today we dedicated Elements Health & Wellness Spa to God, officially and publicly declaring this.”
Oblawski said she knows they will all be blessed by “being obedient.”
“Obedience is better than sacrifice, scripture tells us,” she said. “We also had an anointing service where we could be anointed with oil for healing, direction, guidance, wisdom, etc. Pastor Roger Woodard is my uncle whom I sat under for over five years while in Los Angeles in the 1990s. He has many studies on Revelations and God’s economy that can be found on YouTube and different podcasts. He led our dedication ceremony today and we are very thankful for him, our staff and community members that attended.”
