CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman Wellness and Aquatic Center will offer a Monday discount to the general public through the summer, beginning June 7. “Community Splash,” as the program is called, offers non-members an entry fee of $7, less than half of the standard $15 public admission rate, if they arrive at CWAC between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.

The offer is good on Mondays only, with arrival time between 10 a.m. (opening time for the pool) and 11 a.m. After 11 a.m., the regular rate of $15 applies. CWAC Director Dianne Evans emphasized that the 11 a.m. cutoff is for entry only; visitors are welcome to stay through the day.

CWAC’s Wild Water Park is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays. For every other day, admission is $15 per person (ages 2 and under free), following this schedule:

Tuesday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Wednesday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Thursday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Friday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Saturday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Sunday 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Come one, come all!

Information was also circulated early on that the program would be for local residents only, requiring a driver’s license showing a local address, but Evans stated that this was not correct, and that Community Splash will be for anyone who wants to come.

Evans told The Tribune, “I am excited to see this introduced this year.  I hope this will encourage some that have not been to Wild Water to come out and swim with us for the day!”
