CULLMAN, Ala. – Wednesday morning, Sept. 9, Good Hope Contracting will begin work on a $268,967 contract to repair/patch a 2.5-mile stretch of the four-lane part of U.S. Highway 31 near Hurricane Creek Park in Cullman County, near the Morgan County line.
Motorists are advised to expect single-lane closures between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily and to plan additional travel time in anticipation of delays.
The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) anticipates all work being completed by mid-October.
