CULLMAN COUNTY YOUTH FOOTBALL: Championship matchups set for next week

WEST POINT, Ala. — Round one of the Cullman County Youth Football playoffs is in the books and championship games are now set for each division. In the Fireplug games, the Cullman Cyclones knocked off the Hanceville Bulldogs while the Holly Pond Broncos defeated the Good Hope Raiders. The Wee-Wee matchups saw the West Point Warriors edge the Cold Springs Eagles in overtime and the Good Hope Raiders cruised past the Fairview Aggies. In Saturday’s Pee-Wee games, the Cullman Cyclones routed the West Point Warrior and the Good Hope Raiders squeaked past the Fairview Aggies.

Fireplug:

Cyclones 14 – Bulldogs 0

Broncos 14 – Raiders 6

Wee-Wee:

Warriors 22 – Eagles 16 (OT)

Raiders 30 – Aggies 0

Pee-Wee:

Cyclones 44 – Warriors 0

Raiders 16 – Aggies 14

Hanceville will take on the Good Hope Raiders in the third place Fireplug game while the Cullman Cyclones and the Holly Pond Broncos square off in the championship game.

Cold Springs will face off against the Fairview Aggies for third place in the Wee-Wee divison and the championship game will see the West Point Warriors take on the Good Hope Raiders.

West Point will battle Fairview Aggies for third place in the Pee-Wee game and the championship game will feature the Cullman Cyclones and the Good Hope Raiders.
