Miss Melba Livingston, of Good Hope, spent Sunday here.

Mr. and Mrs. Emory Johnson spent the weekend at Fairview with friends and relatives.

Mr. Everett Clifton called on Miss Geneva Johnson, on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Coggins, of Birmingham, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. John Williams and family.

Miss Euldine King, of Cullman, spent Sunday at Beech Grove.

Johnnie Hicks, of Blountsville, will spend several days with friends and relatives here.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hicks and son, Aprintis, of Arley, spent the weekend here.

Mr. Wallace, J.W. and Everett Clifton and Wynelle and Thelma Ray spent Sunday afternoon with Misses Marie and Geneva Johnson.

Mr. and Mrs. Roland, of Crane Hill, spent the weekend here with Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Ryan and family.

Joseph Johnson has returned to his home in Blountsville, after spending several weeks with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Johnson.

Mr. Talmadge Cone, of Fairview, spent Friday night with his sister, Mrs. Ivory Johnson.

Mr. and Mrs. Parker McDonald have named their little baby girl, Mary Ruth.

Mr. and Mrs. Gulf Clifton and family spent Saturday night at Crane Hill.

Mr. E.L. Buckner, Principal, has recommended six students at Holly Pond High School to Alabama College to receive invitations to the Student Career Conference to be held there June 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th. The students recommended are: Hazel Head, Lucille Hendrix, Velma White, Louise Murphree, Rachel Seibenhener and Dodson Monteze.

Among the number of relatives visiting Mrs. W.A. Herring this weekend were Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Allen and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Mabrey, of Alabama City. They also attended the decorations at Baileyton and Union Grove, on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Reed and family attended the decoration at Crossville on Sunday and called on his mother and some of his brothers and sisters. Upon the return his mother accompanied them for a few days here.

Misses Ozell and Wavoline Talley and Maxine Farley were the Saturday night guests of Misses Marjorie and Winona Cook.

Mrs. Lewis Dye and little daughter, Melba Ruth, were the Friday guests of Mrs. Young Smith.

Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Chambers were the Saturday night guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Farley.

Mr. and Mrs. Grady Dye and family visited relatives of Cherokee County last weekend, also attending the decoration and homecoming at Piney Grove, near Centre.

Mr. and Mrs. Shelton, of Cullman, visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Doc Talley, on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Mabrey, of Alabama City, were the weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Waldrop.
