This is our 3rd or 4th year to do this particular fundraiser. We exceeded our goals and were able to buy more TrackChairs than we thought we’d be able to do.”

CULLMAN — During November, Cullman’s Applebee's restaurant is holding its annual Disabled Veterans Fundraiser. All proceeds from every $2 Brownie or Blondie Bite sold will be donated to help purchase all-terrain wheelchairs, or TrackChairs, for disabled veterans.

“We have our Brownie or Blondie Bites desserts that we sell all month to help buy TrackChairs for the veterans,” said Debbie Wilson, Applebee's General Manager. “Our restaurant’s goal this year is to raise a minimum of $2,000. As a company, our goal is to raise $100,000.00,” she smiled.

“Last year we were able to buy several TrackChairs. This is our 3rd or 4th year to do this particular fundraiser. We exceeded our goals and were able to buy more TrackChairs than we thought we’d be able to do.”
