    Cullman High Class of 1953 holds 65 year reunion

      The Cullman High School Class of 1953 met recently for its 65 year class reunion. A buffet dinner at Stonebridge Farms was enjoyed and the next day a lunch catered by Freddie Day at the Ruehl Building. Forty-seven class members attended, along with spouses. Plans were tentatively made for another reunion in two years.

      First row: Loretta Clark Pritchard, Maybelle Kinney Mangrum, Joanne Brindley Harwell, Joy Bradford Johnson, Betty Vandiver Lindstrom, Esther Davis Sparks, Hilda Perdue Sandlin, Evelyn Freeman Stevens and Shirley Hamilton Stephenson. Second row: Edward Bolte, Emily Gibson Marcum, Wanda Baker Clay, Eva Nell Chambers Miller, Bonnie Johnson Taylor, Sue Long Bradley, Allie Yarbrough Owens, Mary Pylant Burden, Edwin Calvert and Doris Schafer Henke. Third row: Lowell Vann, Bill Baggett, Jimmie Wood, Gus Lowry, Donald Green, Harold Speegle and Ken Hill.
