Funeral service for Gennie Lue Jones, 78, of Falkville will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 30, 2026, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Flint Creek Cemetery, Rev. Delbert Freeman officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 prior to the service.

Mrs. Jones passed away Jan. 26, 2026, at Falkville Nursing & Rehab. She was born July 21, 1947, to William A. and Gertrude Lulabell Vaughn Curvin. Gennie loved decorating for Christmas and putting together puzzles and especially loved her little dog, Crimson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rayburn Jones and her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her nieces, nephews, family and friends.
