Betty Dale Privett, 65, of Blountsville, Alabama, passed away on Thursday evening, December 11, 2025. Ms. Privett was born on July 31, 1960, to the late Felton Eugene and Geraldine Carroll Denney.
Ms. Privett is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Edward Privett; brothers, Johnny Denney and Bobby Denney; as well as a great-grandchild, Avery.
Those left to cherish Betty’s memory includes her daughters, Joni Posey, Jamie Franklin (Donald), Jessica Dobbs; grandchildren, Hallie Saye, Hannah Welsh, Dallas Tristan Dobbs, Kati Franklin, Tyler Franklin, Trevor Posey, Jayda Dobbs; and great-grandchildren, Evan, Braylen, Memphis, Jackson, and Corben.
Ms. Privett was an adoring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and her passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Ms. Privett will lie-in-state on Monday, December 15th, 2025, from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m., in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m., on Monday, at Rock Springs Cemetery.
