FAIRVIEW, Ala. – It was a night of new beginnings in Fairview Monday, Nov. 3, as new Mayor Clint Haynes and several new council members were officially sworn in. Friends, family and residents filled the town hall to show their support and welcome the new leadership.
Haynes thanked outgoing Mayor Keith Henry and council members for their commitment and service to the town of Fairview.
There was not any new business on the agenda, but the council did review a few ongoing projects. One highlight was an update on the new Jack’s restaurant, which it expected to open on Nov. 19, 2025. The restaurant is already generating excitement among residents eager for another local dining spot.
Council members also discussed the urgent need for tree removal at the town park. The Town plans to begin the work soon.
The Fairview Town Council meets the first Monday of the month at 6 p.m. at Fairview Town Hall.
