PREP CROSS COUNTRY: Cold Springs Eagles, Lady Eagles win 22nd, 20th consecutive county titles

FAIRVIEW, Ala. – This year’s Cullman County Cross Country Championships were held in Fairview on Tuesday, and it was a familiar sight when the Cold Springs Eagles and Lady Eagles hoisted two more trophies. Cold Springs’ boys (34 points) secured their 22^nd consecutive county title and the girls (15 points) secured their 20^th straight county crown.

Individually, Cold Springs’ Reese Swidecki (20:27.81) won the girls’ championship and Vinemont’s Brady Johnson (16:14.57) captured this year’s boys’ championship. In the JV competition, West Point (15 points) claimed the boys’ championship in the JV girls’ race, Good Hope outpaced West Point to secure the title. Individually, West Point Lincoln Parker (12:23.88) placed first in the JV boys’ race and Good Hope’s Jada Alsup (13:59.60) won the JV girls’ race.
