CULLMAN, Ala. – The Ms. Cullman County Pageant will take place at Fairview High School on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 2 p.m.
Pageant Director Gidget Gregory said contestants will be scored in the categories of interview, fun fashion, active wear, evening gown and on-stage question.
“There are four ladies competing in the Ms. Senior Cullman County division and five ladies competing in the Ms. Super Senior Cullman County division,” Gregory said. “The deadline was Sept. 1 for contestants. There have been 22 ladies crowned Ms. Senior Cullman County, with the last one being in 2019. After several ladies expressed interest in bringing it back, a new pageant board was formed. Because of the five-year break, the theme of this pageant is ‘The Crown Returns.’”
The founder of the Ms. Senior Cullman County pageant is the late Betty Leeth Haynes.
Gregory said after being crowned Ms. Senior Alabama in 1997, she was inspired to give other ladies in Cullman County a similar opportunity.
“Although our sponsorship deadline has passed, we would love continued support of the community in this organization,” Gregory said. “The ladies will need the help of the audience for the People’s Choice Award. Every dollar donated towards a contestant counts as a vote. Portions of the People’s Choice will be donated toward Santa for Seniors (Commission on Aging) and Flourish of Cullman.”
The winners from each division will represent Cullman County at the Ms. Senior Alabama Pageant in June 2026.
The Ms. Senior Cullman County Pageant will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at 2 p.m. in the Fairview High School auditorium.
Doors will open at 1:30. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children aged 6-12; children 6 and younger get in free.
