
CULLMAN, AL. – While local youth volleyball teams participated in the Cullman County Youth Volleyball Tournament, 6th Grade Cullman Gold forwent the county tournament and left it all on the court this weekend in the Regional Elementary Tournament, proving themselves as one of the top teams in the North Region. The league and tournament featured 23 teams from across North Alabama, including strong programs from Bob Jones, Hazel Green, Hartselle, East Limestone, Ardmore, and Athens.
With grit, teamwork, and determination, Cullman stormed through the bracket, securing four straight victories on their way to the championship match. Wins included Hazel Green, Ardmore and Athens.
In a true Clash of the Titans, Cullman Gold faced off against 7A powerhouse Bob Jones in the finals. The championship battle was intense, showcasing rallies filled with heart and hustle from both sides.
6th Grade Cullman Gold completed their season with a record of 17-4 in regional play, Platinum Bracket Runner Up, as well as undefeated and #1 seed in Cullman County play.
6th Grade Cullman Gold has amassed an overall record of 32-5 and won an astounding 65 of 78 sets this season while traveling to compete against top teams across the region.
