CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism will host a Holiday Haus shopping event at the OmniPlex Friday and Saturday, Oct. 17-18, from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
CPRST Special Events Director Daniel Wyatt said the department has hosted similar events before, but this one brings every holiday together under one roof, giving it a fresh twist.
“The idea grew from having such a great venue at the OmniPlex to showcase the talented and creative vendors in our area,” Wyatt said. “ We also wanted to provide a shopping experience that keeps people here in Cullman, instead of having to drive an hour north or south. Once visitors see how the space can be transformed — and how it can draw people from across north Alabama to experience what Cullman has to offer — the possibilities are endless.”
Holiday Haus will feature a wide variety of vendors showcasing goods and crafts inspired by every season and celebration.
“Shoppers can expect booths filled with festive décor, handmade gifts, seasonal apparel, jewelry and specialty items designed for holidays ranging from Valentine’s Day and Easter to Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas,” Wyatt said. “The Holiday Haus is a unique way to celebrate the joy of every holiday, all in one place. Whether visitors are hunting for a special keepsake, home décor or just looking to get a head start on the next celebration, the event promises something for everyone.”
The cost to enter will be $5, and kids 5 and younger get in free.
