Obituary: Reba Darlene Miller

Funeral Service for Reba Darlene Miller, age 81 of Hanceville, will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home; burial at Cullman City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home. 
 
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 
 
Reba Smith Miller, born October 29, 1943, passed away peacefully at home on July 9, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel & Esther Smith, her first husband Hugh Allred, her second and husband Glen Miller and her brothers, Morris Gwendel Smith and Douglas Wilford Smith. 
 
Reba owned Cullman Gift Shop for many years and had a passion for antiques! She was one of the founding Board of Directors of Merchants Bank of Alabama until its merger. Born with a servant’s heart, Reba spent many years volunteering at her church and many ministries, as well as taking care of family members and friends during times of sickness. 
 
Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Lawayne and Christi Allred; grandchildren, Chris Allred, Jessica Allred, and John Connor Allred; sisters, Melda Allred, Genneth Queen, Jeanette Chambers, Donna (Larry) Holmes, Terry Maze; and brother Clifford (Debbie) Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews.
