CULLMAN, Ala. — The Cullman City Council on Monday opened its meeting by welcoming athletes from Cullman Gymnastics, to celebrate their recent victory at the 2025 Alabama Optional/Xcel State Meet, where they were named Alabama Silver Team State Champions. Offering a resolution recognizing the team, Councilman Clint Hollingsworth presented individual certificates to:
- Avery Adams – level XB div. F first place floor, third place beam, second place All-Around
- Ella Anderson – level XB div. K first place bars, beam and All-Around; second place floor
- Zoe Burks – level XS div. B first place vault, bars, floor and All-Around, second place beam
- Skylar Livengood – level XS div. F second place beam, third place vault
- Lily McEachern – level XS div. H second place bars, third place beam and All-Around
- Willa Miner – level XS div. C first place vault
- Mary Beth Moody – level 7 div. F first place vault, third place floor
- Sabrina Schuster – level XB div. K first place beam; second place vault, bars and floor, second place All-Around
- Harper Williams – level XS div. B first place beam; second place vault, bars, floor and All-Around
