
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Robert Aderholt, R-Alabama, chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health & Human Services, and Education, on Wednesday, Feb. 12, recognized the testimony of Wallace State Community College President Dr. Vicki Karolewics during a hearing focused on workforce development.
The hearing, titled “Career Ready Students: Innovations from Community Colleges and the Private Sector,” examined how community colleges and industry partners are preparing students for high-demand careers. Karolewics provided valuable insight into Wallace State’s workforce training initiatives, highlighting the college’s success in equipping students with the skills needed to thrive in today’s job market.
