MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Reese Swidecki placed 17th Saturday to lead the Cold Springs girls to a 13th-place finish at the City Auto Memphis Twilight XC Classic.
Swidecki completed the varsity 5K in 19:19.34. Gemma Swidecki was the Lady Eagles’ second finisher, placing 39th in 20:13.83.
Kynzlie Myrex placed 90th in 21:42.05, Claire Hancock finished 166th in 23:48.42 and Ally Mavers crossed 176th in 24:00.46 to complete Cold Springs’ five-runner scoring group.
Leslie Jones placed 220th in 25:16.55, Allison Rice was 242nd in 26:11.25, Lila Cates finished 277th in 27:41.37 and Blair Belcher placed 306th in 30:18.21.
The Lady Eagles totaled 399 points and placed 13th among 44 scoring teams.
Carson Rice led the Cold Springs boys with a 137th-place time of 18:25.03. Samuel Hunt followed in 179th at 18:49.89.
James Baggett placed 277th in 20:11.96, Caleb Dill finished one position behind him in 20:12.58 and Malachi Adams placed 394th in 23:57.75.
Cold Springs scored 1,110 points and placed 42nd among 56 boys teams.
The meet was held at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex and hosted by Christian Brothers University.
