CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office made multiple arrests just before New Year’s, including:

Dec. 28

Deputies arrested Leah Danielle Westbrook, 32, of Hanceville, on multiple warrants stemming from incidents that occurred in August 2023.

Westbrook is charged with theft, four counts of theft less than $500 and six counts of counterfeiting.

Deputies arrested Charles Edward White, 36, of Cordova, on multiple failure to appear warrants stemming from charges in 2021.  

White is charged with burglary, possession of burglary tools, unlawful possession of dangerous drugs, two counts of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal mischief and six traffic violations.

Dec. 31

Deputies responded to a report of domestic violence in the Duck River community. Jami Aleta Phillips, 41, of Falkville, was located at the scene and was allegedly intoxicated. 

An alleged victim was also located on the premises. The CCSO said sufficient evidence was present to charge Phillips.

Phillips is charged with second-degree elder abuse and neglect.
