CULLMAN, Ala. – Monograms Plus, a cornerstone in Cullman for gift giving and treating yourself, is celebrating its 24th year of business by hosting its annual “Girls Day Out” on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023.
This year’s event will be similar to ones hosted in the past, loaded with discounts, games, VIP swag bags and even margaritas to toast. One small difference: the festivities will take place at the store’s new and larger storefront located at 802 Main Ave. NE.
Monograms Plus Owner Lynsey Todd shared her excitement about hosting the event at the new location, saying that while Girls Day Out happens every year, this one is extra special due to the change in scenery.
“We have Girls Day Out every year to celebrate the store’s birthday, and this will be our 24th year in business,” she said. “But we are so excited about our first Girl’s Day Out event in our new location!”
Of course, no birthday party is complete without a theme, and this year’s is “Taco-Bout Our 24th Birthday!” offering a kitsch feel with bright, colorful accents and coordinating refreshments like street corn, chips and salsa and, of course, margaritas.
Todd was happy to share that local Mexi Cali favorite K’s Botanas will be joining in on the fun.
“K’s Botanas will be here dishing up free street corn for the first 50 people in line!” said Todd. “Nothing Bundt Cakes will be joining us, too, and there will be tons of giveaways and door prizes!”
