WEST POINT, Ala. – The West Point High School Class of 2019 will hold its graduation ceremony Sunday, May 26 at 4 p.m. at Wallace State Community College’s Tom Drake Coliseum. There are 133 graduates.
The class song is “September” by Daughtry. Class colors are maroon, white and black. The class flower is a white rose with maroon tips and the class motto is Henry David Thoreau’s “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.”
Class officers are President, Jaclyn Albright; Vice President, Avery Denson; Secretary, Happi Moore; Treasurer Lily Whitesell; and Spirit Leaders Makayla Brown and Joshua Couch.
West Point High School Principal Heith Yearwood shared, “I would like to commend each of you on this monumental accomplishment in your life. I wish each of you the very best in the next step of your life’s journey. May God bless you with happiness and joy in whatever career fields that you choose. We feel blessed to have been able to be a part of your years at our school. God bless!”
