CULLMAN, Ala. – A gentle touch from Marshall is a simple request. He would like to be picked up, please, and if there is room in your lap, that is exactly where he hopes to stay.
Marshall, The Cullman Tribune Pet of the Week, is an approximately 6-year-old Maltipoo available for adoption at the Cullman County Animal Shelter. This affectionate fellow knows what he wants most, and it is time close to his person.
Described as having plenty of common sense, Marshall makes his wishes known with that soft touch. For someone who enjoys the company of a lap dog, his desire to be held could be the beginning of a loving friendship.
Marshall has cataracts, but those caring for him say they do not hold him back. Prospective adopters can speak with shelter staff about his needs and care.
He is waiting for a home where his gentle requests for attention will be met with open arms and a place to settle.
Marshall’s adoption fee is $130 and includes neutering, vaccinations and microchipping. To learn more about Marshall or meet him, visit the Cullman County Animal Shelter at 935 Convent Road NE. The shelter is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Contact the shelter at 256-734-5448 or cullmananimalshelter@co.cullman.al.us.
Has Marshall already been adopted? Don’t worry! Many more pets are waiting for their forever homes, and your perfect companion may be among them.
