Betty Sue Roy, 65, of Vinemont, Alabama, passed from this life on January 28, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family. Mrs. Roy was born April 08, 1956 to Walter Andersen and Mildred Marie Filmore Benefield. She was a member at Powell’s Chapel Church, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. A memorial service will be planned and announced by the family.

Mrs. Roy was preceded in death by her parents; brother and sister-in-law: Timothy Andersen (Betty) Bennefield; sister-in-law: Cecilia Benefield; son-in-law: Noah Lee Reed and sister: Janie Marie Benefield.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years: Bobby Douglas Roy, Sr.; son: Bobby Douglas Roy, Jr.; daughters: Kethel Sue (Charlie) Partain, Tina Louise Reed and fiance’ Scott Bailey and Elsie Denise (CeCe) Mills; brothers: Paul Ray Benefield, Joseph Ray Benefield and Walter Ray Benefield; sister: Patsy Sain and two grandchildren: Christina Reed and Kimberly Roy.
