Cullman County incumbents facing challengers, others running unopposed

CULLMAN, Ala. – With what many call “election season” just beginning to fire up locally, some Cullman County incumbents are facing challengers while others have a seemingly smooth path to reelection. 

On Friday, January 28, 2022 those seeking to qualify for various positions, from sheriff to newly added county commission seats. 

Each Party Chairman has until March 3, 2022 to certify the names.

“The Candidates qualify with the Party Chair. Qualifying does not end until 5 p.m. today (Friday),” said Benson C. Clark,Cullman County Probate Office / election coordinator. “The Party Chair has until March 3, 2022, to certify all the names to the Probate office.”

Below is an unofficial list of those who have qualified as of Friday afternoon.
