BLOUNTSVILLE, Ala. –Tyson Foods is looking to hire 65 new team members to fill various positions at the Blountsville facility and will be holding a career fair this Saturday, Nov. 20 for anyone interested. Earlier this fall, Tyson Blountsville’s starting wages increased to $15.00 per hour ($31,200 per year), as well as an additional shift differential increase to $17.00 per hour ($35,360 per year). These rates are based on full-time salary with 40 hours a week. Tyson offers additional benefits and resources such as job training, workplace safety and benefits.
Tyson Foods will also be holding a food donation event in conjunction with the career fair. The facility will be distributing around 140,000 meals to support families in the Blountsville area this holiday season. Any food leftover after the event will be donated to local food banks. Application to the company is not required to receive food.
Both events will be held in the Tyson Blountsville facility parking lot from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Sat. Nov. 20. The facility is located at 67240 Main Street, Blountsville, Al.
