DODGE CITY, Ala. – Friday afternoon, the identities of a couple killed in a traffic collision on I-65 Thursday evening were released by Cullman County Coroner Jeremy Kilpatrick.

Kilpatrick identified the deceased as Brenda Hickens Miller, 72, and Nickey Nile Miller, 70, of Joppa.

Thursday evening, Kilpatrick confirmed three fatalities occurred in two separate collisions in the northbound lanes of I-65.

He confirmed to The Tribune that 27-year-old Crane Hill resident Jordan Danielle Roberson passed away following a single vehicle wreck.

“This was the first of two collisions,” said Kilpatrick.

According to personnel on the scene, Roberson was ejected from the vehicle following a multi-rollover wreck at MM 300, just north of rest area bridge.

The second claimed the lives of two individuals traveling together, later identified as the Millers. Kilpatrick stated both were pronounced deceased on arrival.

Alabama State Troopers are investigating the cause of both incidents and updates will be provided as made available.
