Memorial services for Lejend Adonnis Kearse will be 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2020 at Garden City First Baptist Church in Garden City, Alabama. Friends of the family will be welcome at the church Monday prior to the service from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Lejend Adonnis Kearse was born prematurely at 26 weeks old June 9, 2020 to Kattie Arnold and John Wesley Kearse III and went to sleep in the arms of Jesus Sept. 12, 2020 at the age of 3 months old.
Lejend’s nickname “Baby Creed” fell nothing short of the obvious, knowing he was born to be a fighter. He fought strong and hard until the day he was called home to rest. Although his life was short here on Earth, the people he touched and the love he shared will last forever.
In addition to his parents, Lejend is survived by his brothers and sisters Kinley Watkins, Kingsten Hall, Marlee Hall and John Wesley Kearse IV; aunts and uncles Jesse (Zoe Strawbridge) Arnold and Jerell (Sara) Kearse; grandparents Scott and Bridgette Arnold and John Wesley Kearse, Jr. and Veronica Wright; great-grandmother Rebecca Arnold; and a host of cousins and extended family members.
