CULLMAN, Ala. – Members of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church’s St. Vincent de Paul Society in Cullman have opened their food bank doors on a very limited basis to help the needy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The food bank doors are open Friday mornings from 9-11:45 a.m., with workers are exercising precautionary measures including the 6-foot distance rules and wearing face masks and gloves while serving applicants.  The food bank will resume its normal operational days and hours of Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9-11:45 a.m. once restrictions have been lifted.  The office is located across from the church at 205 Third Ave. SE in Cullman.

The services of the worldwide St. Vincent de Paul organization are available to all residents of Cullman County who qualify according to prescribed rules and regulations.
