UPDATE: Search continues for missing boater Kelsey Starling of Troy

SMITH LAKE/CRANE HILL – In a press release issued by Sgt. Chad Pate, ALEA-Marine Patrol Division, Northern District Assistant Commander, the search for missing boater, Kelsey Starling of Troy, is still underway.

“Search efforts began this morning around noon,” the release stated. “No new findings at this time.”

Christian Aid Ministries, a specialty search and rescue unit out the Tennessee area, is using high definition sonar imaging to scan the area.

“Divers are on scene along with several local volunteer fire departments, Cullman County Sheriff’s Department and ALEA Marine Patrol Division. I will include a complete list of participating agencies with my evening update,” he stated.
