HOLLY POND –  This Saturday, Oct. 27, the owners of Holly Pond antique store The Middle of Nowhere are teaming up with the Town of Holly Pond Town Council to host the second annual Holly Pond Vintage Market at Governor’s Park. The event will showcase antiques, vintage and handmade items from local businesses and vendors and more. There will also be children’s activities and live entertainment provided by local Cullman band Round 2, as well as Jesse Priest. Delicious foods like homemade cinnamon rolls, fried pies, chili, grilled hot dogs, corn on the cob and gourmet popcorn will be available, along with farm-fresh eggs and pumpkins.

Bailey Frost, one of the market’s vendors, shared, “The Town of Holly Pond wanted to host an event to bring our community together as the seasons change. It was a wonderful success last year.”

Aside from the many businesses setting up booths at the market, there will also be a station set up where donations of non-perishable foods can be made to the town’s food bank, Carpenter’s Cabinet of Holly Pond.

Said Frost, “We wanted to bless the Carpenter’s Cabinet – a pantry located right by Governor’s Park. We are asking shoppers to bring donations to drop off at Carpenter’s Cabinet’s tent on Saturday.”

Around 40 vendors will participate, including The Cracker Box, SweetWater, Vintage Re-creation, Backwoods Belle Bakery, Gingham Girl, Pine Grove Trading Company, Southern Farm Co, Chigger Hill Cottage, Antique Artifacts and many more. The Guy Hunt Library and Museum and the Holly Pond Lions Club will also be on site.

The Holly Pond Vintage Market will be this Saturday, Oct. 27, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at Governor’s Park in Holly Pond.
