Obituary: Harold William Beavon

Mr. Harold William Beavon, 93, passed away on January 2, 2016 at his daughter's home in Cullman. Memorial services will be held later in Montana.

Mr. Beavon was born November 1, 1922 in Kenya, Africa to missionary parents Eric and Myrna Campbell Beavon. They were there until he was eight years old. Harold spent his entire life in the mission field and in the ministry of the Lord.

In 1945 he married Norma Lee Conquest, she joined him in his work. They had three lovely daughters as they worked with their beloved church The Seventh Day Adventist throughout the Congo, Kenya, East Africa, India, Eastern and Western Canada.

Mr. Beavon is predeceased by his parents, his loving wife of 67 years, Norma Lee and two brothers, Everle Beavon and Chester Beavon.

He is survived by daughters Heather (Dan) Philpott of Cullman AL: Barbara (Gary) Hann of Tacoma WA; Laura Laenza of Apache Junction AZ; one brother Fred (Velma) Beavon of Flat Head Lake MT; Seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter on the way.
